Emily was born in a small mining village in Derbyshire and has lived in various places across the country, even living for some time in Tanzania.
She loves animal watching and has taken trips to all four corners of the globe to see exotic animals in their natural habitat. She recommends a visit to Longleat Safari Park a short drive from Bath to see fascinating animals from across the globe.
Emily’s other must-do is a walk from Bath to Bradford on Avon, along the Kennet and Avon Canal, a nice flat walk along a tow path taking in beautiful architectural features.
She worked with Country Living Magazine to help develop Country Living Hotels, and said of working with the company, “We have blended our hotel knowledge with this exciting brand to make something we hope that you will love.”
As well as her interest in animal watching, Emily enjoys diving, swimming and walking and follows British Superbikes.
Emily has travelled extensively, with trips including canoeing the Zambezi to see hippos and crocodiles, climbing the mountains of Rwanda to see Gorillas and sailing the Galapagos to swim with turtles and sharks and dive with seahorses and sunfish.
